Introduction to Partnership
A
no-horse-required seminar, featuring live or taped demonstrations on an
upper level horse and an introduction to National Horsemanship focusing
on understanding the prey/predator relationship. Also includes hands-on
rope skills, beginning knots, and introduction to the games through simulation.
For those individuals seeking more information about Natural Horsemanship.
No horses necessary.
Beginning Partnership
Introduce your horse to the games and learn how to apply them to your
daily interactions. For those seeking to begin a relationship that will
lead to more fun, safety, and results. Un-started horses OK.
Advancing Partnership
Selected subjects from the following: Reinforcement of the Games in work
and play, savvy saddling and intro to freestyle riding: rein positions,
one rein riding, follow a focus, transitions, back up, sideways. Your
horse needs to already be rideable and both of you need to be familiar
with the games. You can ride your horse at a walk, trot and canter and
can stop.
Beginning Harmony
Selected
subjects from the following: Refinement of the games (intro to 22' line
and flag), intro to liberty, development of freestyle riding (1 or 2 sticks),
and intro to impulsion.
Advancing Harmony
Selected subjects from the following: Refinement of games, development
of liberty, refinement of freestyle riding (neck ropes and Cherokee bridle)
and impulsion, and intro to Finesse. You need to be comfortable riding
bareback at a walk and trot and can canter in the saddle with loose reins.
